The course runs over 40 hours (full time or part time) basis and covers the following content:

• Relevant Anatomy & Physiology
• Patient Assessment
• Airway Maintenance
• Oxygen Therapy
• Management of Cardiac Patients
• Medical Emergencies
• Trauma including bleeding,shock,soft tissue injuries & fractures
• Patient Care Reporting
• Medication Administration
• Emergency Childbirth
